In Turkey, for the entire food industry sector; by bringing together under one roof manufacturers of food additives, additive blends, processing aids, flavors, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, yeasts, and other auxiliary materials; as well as manufacturers in other countries operating in the same or similar fields, under a single umbrella to foster professional solidarity, mutual assistance, and cooperation among them, and to assist consumers in gaining information by maintaining communication with them. It was established in 2000 for this purpose.
