Azelis entered the Turkish market in 2007 with the acquisition of Tara Kimya. In 2019, it acquired 100% of Ekin Kimya, Turkey’s leading distributor of specialty chemicals in the fields of pharmaceutical chemicals, food additives, and laboratory chemicals. Most recently (May 2022), Tunçkaya, a strong distributor in the meat and dairy sectors, joined the Azelis Turkey family.
