Azelis entered into Turkish market by acquiring Tara Kimya in 2007. In 2019 Azelis acquired 100% shares of Ekin Kimya, the leading Turkish specialty chemicals distributor for pharma chemicals, food ingredients and lab chemicals. Most recently (May 2022), Tunçkaya, a distributor strong in the meat and dairy sectors, has become a part of Azelis Turkey.
