Our GIDABİL Association President, Mehmet Çetin Duruk, and our General Secretary, Canan ELİBOLLAR, attended the FEDIMA General Assembly Meeting on June 16–17, 2025. To ensure high participation from GIDABİL members, a FEDIMA Board of Directors meeting was also held in Brussels, chaired by FEDIMA Board Chairman Thomas Lesaffre. At the FEDIMA General Assembly meeting, participants once again expressed their satisfaction with the 2024 General Assembly Meeting, which was hosted by Istanbul last year. During the General Assembly, where past activities were discussed, special sessions were also held to review the agenda and activities for the upcoming period. The most discussed topic at this meeting was the work on international sourdough standards. FEDIMA’s whole grain campaigns were presented. Many questions were raised regarding the work being done in Turkey on Reactive Red 141. Information was provided about the work we have carried out as the Gıdabil Association in collaboration with our official authorities.
